Do I need an appointment?
No appointments are necessary for urgent care needs. We encourage appointments for routine services, such as physicals and periodic visits for chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes.

What types of emergencies do you treat?
Southside Medical Care Centers specializes in providing cost-effective care of acute injuries and conditions that are not life threatening, such as lacerations, broken bones, strep throat, influenza, and ear infections.

Do you provide primary care?
Yes, we provide primary care services for the entire family.

Do you accept insurance?
Most insurance is accepted and billed as a courtesy. Patients are expected to pay any deductible and co-insurance at the time of service. We do not accept out of state or federal worker’s compensation, auto, or other third party insurance. Please be sure to bring your current insurance information with you.

What if I am uninsured?
Patients are expected to pay at the time of service.

Are you a preferred provider?
Yes, for many insurance plans.

Do you accept Medicare?
Yes.

Do you provide obstetrics services?
No.

Do you refill prescriptions on the same day?
We require a 24 hour notice to refill a prescription. We do our very best to accommodate same day prescription refills.
